Forms and newsletter

The general report form stores the information you actively submit: your message, optional contact email, page URL, locale context, and browser user agent.

Targeted corrections on detail pages additionally store the affected entity, the field, the current value, the proposed value, and an optional explanation.

Newsletter signups store the email address, source, locale, and status so subscriptions can be documented and managed.

Optional measurement and advertising

The public site can use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Google AdSense. These optional services are only loaded after you allow them in the privacy settings.

If you consent, usage, device, browser, and page-view data may be processed, and cookies or similar technologies may be used in line with each provider’s own rules.

Retention and recipients

Reports are kept for as long as they are needed to review, document, and follow up on corrections. Newsletter data remains stored until you unsubscribe or request deletion, unless legal obligations require longer retention.

Technical recipients may include Vercel (hosting, analytics, speed insights), Supabase (database and form storage), MailerLite (newsletter), and Google (AdSense). Processing may also take place outside Switzerland.

Your rights and contact

You can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction regarding voluntarily submitted data. You can also withdraw or re-grant consent for optional services at any time through the privacy settings in the footer.

For privacy and legal questions, PolitIndex uses the project’s general contact address. Editorial corrections can additionally be sent directly to the editorial inbox or through the public report form.
